Here we go again my friends!
Today I am thrilled to officially announce our biggest Legends event ever. It takes place in the beautiful scenery of Finland’s Arctic Lakeland.
We are not just doing a long weekend this time. We are organising a full week of programs for traveling fans, legends, and VIP guests.
How we got here?
The idea of bringing Finland’s northern nature and the global “Red Family” together started back in 2022 with our first event in Helsinki.
That idea grew stronger last year when we hosted the event for the 1968 heroes. We realised we simply could not let this opportunity pass us by.
So, here is the plan. In week 12 of 2027, the Kainuu region turns Red. We will have Manchester United legends, incredible guests, and fans from all over the world.
The Experience
Finnish Arctic Lakeland brings the best parts of Lapland and the Lake District together. We are going to use that unique setting in a way nobody has seen before.
The week is packed with emotions and experiences. Think husky and reindeer rides, an authentic Sauna School, ice bars, and a Gala Dinner with the legends. It all leads up to a snow football match played in an amazing location and broadcast live globally.
The Legends
We released the first names today: Wes Brown, John O’Shea and René Meulensteen.
Involving Wes Brown, means the most to me personally among the legends. Our years of friendship and work together have already created some amazing memories. When I pitched this idea to him, he just said he wants to be involved “all the way”. So we have a two-time Champions League winner and five-time Premier League winner as part of our team. Can you believe this?
Next up is John O’Shea. One of the most versatile players I’ve ever watched live. You could throw him into almost any position and the manager knew he’d always deliver a solid performance. O’Shea racked up a whopping 250+ matches for United and 130 for Ireland.
Then, our first addition to the coaching lineup: René Meulensteen. He spent over a decade in the United setup, serving as Sir Alex Ferguson’s right-hand man and First Team Coach from 2007–2013 – an era when they won everything. I can’t wait to hear the stories this tactical wizard has to tell!
In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be announcing one incredible legend after another to join our event. We’re proud to offer them a unique experience in the stunning surroundings of Arctic Lakeland!

Our webshop opens in early February for “early birds”.
The packages include accommodation at Sokos Hotel Break, which is our HQ for the week, plus tickets to the Gala Dinner and the snow football match. We will keep adding different activities to the shop throughout the year with our partners.
